Most of you know I work for Tilteed.com - a T-shirt shop based out of Portland, Oregon and bringing you new tees every 72 hours. Shop owner, Patrick Treadway decided to 'sweeten the pot', we should also have freebies to give to the fans when they make a purchase. The idea became: Recreate the Tilteed logo in your own style. The first four were created by tee greats: A.mar.illo, Wotto, BootsBoots and Againstbound. They were well received by all and many people loved the designs. After we passed out a large amount of those, Patrick ran a double set: four buttons with the manipulated logo by four new artists and four random tees turned buttons. This second batch had one of my creations in it: "Tentacular Tilteed" a sea-inspired button with the company logo. Here are some pictures of all the buttons and the artwork, up close and personal.

Oooh You're So Sticky (StandOut Stickers.com)
I'd been waiting like a kid in a candy shop. That is to say, if said kid had to wait for nearly a year to get her freebie stickers from a promotional deal at StandOutStickers.com. I can't hate on them... the stickers were free! But alas, sitting at the door every day, waiting for that little package to come was far more than I could bear. Then one day, not realizing I hadn't worshiped the postal service gods (maybe I should have been praying to postal saints... are there any??), it came. One crisp, white package with my name on it. And within? Stickers created by me, printed by SOS.com, and hopefully coveted by you guys. Maybe I'll run a contest. What do you say?

I Love Baseball, But You've Gotta Go... (Custom work)
So Patrick, the owner of Tilteed.com, comes to me last week, "I need a logo for a softball team that has a weird name." No problem, right? Take a look at what I came up with and see if you can figure out the humor in this Oregon team's name.

That's One Baaaaaad As Hell Design
I've been talking with James of Bad As Hell Clothing off and on over the last couple years and come to know him pretty well. Seems he's looking to recreate the 'logo' on the site. He feels the exploding skull just doesn't relay the name of the company well enough. We've talked on and off about it and he's come back to the idea of a sheep in some form (since the site's initials are B.A.H. or the sound a sheep makes). He's gotten a couple ideas, but I decided to go irreverent with my idea for him. For those unfamiliar with the iconic imagery I've used, it's a play on the Lamb of God. We'll see down the road if he uses it for the logo or on a t-shirt, or both.

TeeFury: 100th Shirt Concept
So I waded through a multitude of emails Monday, only to stumble across one from Layne Hunter, owner and figure head of TeeFury.com. Here's what the email said:
I figured what the heck. And after a little brainstorming, I came up with a piece, and sent it in to Layne this evening. He seemed rather excited to get mine, so I was pretty psyched. The shirt will only be available for 24 hrs at TeeFury.com (from Wednesday 12am EST - 11:59pm EST) So now will be the time to buy! And when the shirt comes out Tuesday evening at midnight EST (Wednesday morning), look for this little guy:
So sorry for the short notice, but 100th shirt is going to be produced on Wed. and the community suggested a cool collab idea - have everyone contribute their own TeeFury bird -
We have to have these in by tomorrow - and frankly if we get 10 then we would be very excited ;) I have attached the teefury bird (illustrator CS2) - do what you can - if you dont have time then dont worry about it ;) Thanks again to everyone for your support and participation in TeeFury!
Everyone needs to keep their art to Black and White - we will place all the birds on the design - we will take care of placing your birds on the tee.
Please email your submissions to me ...

La Crosse Mardi Gras Celebration 2008 Logo
This year's celebration has been dubbed: Boogie on the Bayou. I had to do a little convincing on this design since people found 'dancing in a canoe' to be odd. I had to explain the purpose of the pirogue and how it's a flat bottom boat, allowing them to dance ON the bayou, not ON the shore of the bayou. Until fall of 2008, this can be found at www.LaCrosseMardiGras.com
Shown here is the final button and billboard choice the committee went with.
